Content Marketing Quotes - Quality is more important that quantity One home run is better than two doubles - Steve Jobs

Steve Jobs said “Quality is more important than quantity. One home run is much better than two doubles”. And I totally agree with it!

Lets take an example to understand this better!

Which is better?

👉Getting a few likes on every post or article? OR

👉Getting hundreds or thousands of like or shares on a single article?

What will have a greater impact?🤔

(Few Likes on Every Post vs Thousands of likes & shares on a single article)

In my opinion, the latter will have a much better and long lasting impact.

👉When one sees the same article being liked or shared by many people, it psychologically makes an impression of being of value.

👉One article with a huge number of viewership or social signals can give a boost to the entire domain from user as well as SEO perspective.

👉All articles getting a few likes can be an outcome of a few fan followers but a high engagement rate on a single piece of content for sure means wider reach to huge audience base which keeps on multiplying with every share.

Quality is more important than Quantity.

But for an article to be highly shareable, it has to be of high quality. It has to be well written and valuable for the targeted audience.

Just like one home run is better than two doubles, especially if those doubles are not eventually converted into home runs. High-quality content is more important than the quantity of content. Unless your target and strategy specifically asks for quantity over quality.

Which one do you think is more important – Quality or Quantity?
